Education & Training
I graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. During my degree program, I trained as a therapist for individuals and couples at Counseling West, where I got to explore depth psychology-oriented approaches and relational therapy.
Therapists are required to complete continuing education in order to maintain our registration/licenses and stay up-to-date on research and best practices. Some areas I have additional training in:
Gottman Method relationship therapy (completed Level 2 training)
Chronic illness and neurodivergence intersections
Neurodiversity-affirming approach to OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) in LGBTQ+ and marginalized individuals
